   Shipmates,

   We had a scumbag caught stealing in our squadron. He was brought before the Command Master Chief who enquired what the man was accused of. The 1st Class Petty Oficer reporting the fellow told the Master Chief that the accused was a thief.

   Well, the Master Chief looked at the fellow for a couple of seconds, then looked the PO1 right square in the eyes and said “He doesn’t look like a thief to me”. The PO1 said “right!”, and then he a few others escorted the sailor out of the office and took him for a walk.

   Damned if the thief didn’t fall up three flights of stairs while trying to get away. When the Corpsman asked how he got injured, the sailor replied that he was just a little clumsy and fell down the stairs unaided.

   That thief was gone from the squadron and the Navy in less than 48 hours. I was part of a detail that escorted him and his possesions to the bus stop, made certain he had his ticlet in hand, and witnessed him get on the bus and ride away.

   Two things I just cannot abide by: liars & thieves.

   He got off lucky. E9’s have that heat vision that causes slackdicks and candyasses to either motivate or burst into flames.

   Falling up the stairs…that’s funny to me. Does the Navy have “wall-to-wall counseling”?
